1. Tolling System Update (India)
- No nationwide satellite-based toll from 1 May 2025.
- ANPR + FASTag systemat selected toll plazas.
- Barrier-free tolling with automatic deduction.

- NHAI invited bids; full rollout based on feedback.

3. Exercise Desert Flag-10 (UAE)

- Countries: India, USA, UK, France, UAE, etc.
- Focus: Combat missions & defence cooperation.
4. 17th Civil Services Day (21 April 2025)
- PM Modigave Awards of Excellence.

5. Aryabhatta Turns 50
- Launched in 1975; India’s first satellite.
- Designed by ISRO, launched from USSR.
- Collected valuable data despite failure in 5 days.
- Marked India’s entry into space research.
6. Cheetahs Released in Gandhi Sagar (MP)
- Two male cheetahs (Prabash, Paavak) released on 20 April.
- From South Africa (brought in 2023).
- Sanctuary size: 64 sq. km.
- MP: Now a Cheetah State.
- More cheetahs to arrive from Botswana in May.
7. Forex Market Growth (India)
- Forex market grew from $32B (2020)to $60B (2024).
- Daily money market trades: ₹3L → ₹5.4L crore.
- securities: ₹66,000 crore/day.
- Reforms improved transparency and global links.
8. ISRO: Indigenous PSLV Nozzle
- Developed using Stellite(cobalt-based alloy).
- Replaces imported Columbium.
- Tested successfully for 665 secondsat Mahendragiri.
- Reduces costs by 90%.
- Also tested Vikas Enginefor Gaganyaan.
9. US Supreme Court Blocks Deportation Law
- Temporary stay on using 1798 Alien Enemies Act.
- Trump tried to fast-track Venezuelan deportations.
- Justice Alito dissented.
- Law not used since WWII.
10. Bangladesh Red Notice Request
- Interpol Red Notice requested for Sheikh Hasina& 11 others.
- Related to tribunal request.
- Still under processing, not an international arrest warrant yet.
