1) Persian film ‘Endless Borders’ bagged Golden Peacock award at IFFI
- The coveted ‘Golden Peacock’ for Best Film was conferred upon the Persian masterpiece, ‘Endless Borders,’ directed by Abbas Amini.
- The film intricately delves into the complexities of prejudice, moral dilemmas, and forbidden love.
- The jury praised the film’s ability to transcend physical and emotional borders, lauding director Abbas Amini’s courageous storytelling.

- The Syed Modi India international badminton championship world tour Super 300kicked off in Lucknow city of Uttar Pradesh.
- Organised by theUP badminton association under the aegis of the Badminton Association of India, the prestigious tournament will be held.
- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated the event.
4) Safeena Husain, founder of Educate Girls, won WISE Prize for Education
- Safeena Husain, Founder, Educate Girls, has been awarded the prestigious WISE Prize for Educationat the WISE 11 Summit (World Innovation Summit for Education).
- The WISE Prize for Education is the first global distinction of its kind that honours an individual for outstanding contribution to education.
- She is the first Indian woman to win the WISE Prize for Education.
5) Gold Medal to Ministry of Ayush for excellent performance in IITF
- The Ministry of Ayushhas been awarded the Gold Medal by the ‘India Trade Promotion Organization’ for its excellent performance in the ‘Ministries and Departments’ category of the Indian International Trade Fair.
- The Ministry had created an Ayush pavilion with various activities in the fair with the aim of promoting scientific evidence based Ayush treatment methods.
6) ‘Drift’ by Anthony Chen won ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal at IFFI
- French, British and Greek co-production Driftdirected by Anthony Chen received the prestigious ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal at 54th International Film Festival of India.
- The film is an emotional portrait of an immigrant woman who seems condemned to wander by the traumatic and terrible reality of human madness.
- The award was announced at the grand Closing Ceremony of the festival at Goa
7) Odisha bagged Gold at IITF for excellence in display
- The Odisha Pavilionshowcasing the state’s various agricultural products and traditional attires, was adjudged First for excellence in display in the category of ‘State Government and Union Territory‘ at the just concluded 42nd edition of India International Trade Fair, 2023
- The Assam Pavilionbagged Silver.
- TheRajasthan Pavillion bagged Bronze in the same event.
8) ‘PANCHAYAT 2’ won inaugural OTT Award for Web Series at the 54th IFFI
- Panchayat 2, the heartwarming Hindi comedy-drama series, clinched the OTT Award for Web Series at the 54th International Film Festival of India held in Goa.
- Panchayat 2 stood out among the final nominations, including Rocket Boys Season 1 by Abhay Pannu, Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi by Rahul Pandey & Satish Nair, and Human directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah & Mozez Singh.
9) MoD inks contract with BHEL to procure 16 Super Rapid Gun Mount
- The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Haridwar for procurement of 16 SRGM for Indian Navy at a cost of ₹2956.89 Cr.
- The upgraded SRGM will be manufactured by M/s BHEL at its Haridwar Plant.
- It is a medium caliber anti-missile/anti aircraft point defence weapon system which provides a sustained rate of fire and high accuracy.
10) Adani Total Gas Ltd. launched Green Hydrogen Blending Pilot Project
- Adani Total Gas Ltd. (ATGL), co-promoted by the Adani Group and TotalEnergies, announced the initiation of a pioneering ‘Green Hydrogen Blending Pilot Project‘.
- ATGL will employ the latest technologies to blend Green Hydrogen with natural gas for over 4000 customers at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- GH2 is produced using electrolysis of water with electricity generated by renewable energy.
11) WCD Minister launched ‘Anganwadi Protocol for Divyang Children’
- TheAnganwadi Protocol for Divyang Children was launched by the Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani.
- It was launched at a national outreach programorganized on 28th November, 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan.
- The event was organised to realize the commitment for strengthening Divyang children’s overall access to improved well-being.
