- The celebration marks the 75th year of the Supreme Court.

2) Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar CM for 9th time
- Nitish Kumar’s last stint as Chief Minister was in 2022 when he joined the RJD, Congress, and Left alliance, breaking ties with the NDA.
- Between 2022 and 2024, Nitish Kumar played a key role in forming an opposition alliance to challenge the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
- Samrat Chaudhury and Vijay Kumar Sinha also take the oath, and Nitish Kumar announces them as deputy CMs.
3) IRB Infrastructure Trust wins arbitration award of Rs 1,720 Crore
- Yedeshi Aurangabad Tollway Ltd (YATL), a special purpose vehicle of IRB Infrastructure Trust, secures an arbitration award of Rs 1,720 crore for a highway project.
- Arbitration initiated against the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) following a dispute over the company’s claim for a concession period extension by 870 days and compensation of Rs 1,751 crore.

5) Odisha CM inaugurates 4th National Chilika Birds Festival

7) Maersk revealed world’s largest ship fueled by Methanol
- Maersk introduces Ane Maersk, a groundbreaking container vessel powered by green methanol derived from green hydrogen.
- Ane Maersk, with a capacity of 16,000 TEUs, marks a monumental shift towards sustainable and efficient maritime transportation.

8) UP CM inaugurated HPCL’s biomass-based CBG plant in Budaun
- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveils HPCL’s pioneering Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Budaun.
- Plant, with a processing capacity of 100 MTPD of rice straw, aligns with the government’s focus on reducing dependence on imported fossil fuels.
