1) National Thermal Engineer Day: 24 July

  • Every year July 24 is observed as National Thermal Engineers Day to celebrate the contribution of thermal engineers.

  • Thermal management is essential to ensure the efficient operation of electronic components and prevent overheating.

  • National Broadcasting Day is observed on July 23 every year in India.
  • The day marks the start of organised radio broadcasts in the country by All India Radio.
  • On July 23, 1927, the India Broadcasting Company came into existence and became the first radio company in India.

4) Chhattisgarh signs MOU with Tata Technologies to transform ITIs

  • The Chhattisgarh government signed an MoU with Tata Technologies to transform 36 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIS) into Industry 4.0 Technology Hubs.
  • The ITIs will offer six new trades and 23 new short-term courses with state-of-the-art technical workshops and trainer arrangements.
  • Tata Technologies will provide placement opportunities to the skilled youth of Chhattisgarh.

 

5) UP Govt starts 10-day campaign to ensure safety, respect of women

  • The state government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a 10-day campaign to empower women of the state.
  • The campaign is being led by the Women and Child Safety Organization on the instruction of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
  • The aim of the campaign is to ensure the safety, respect, and self-reliance of women in Uttar Pradesh.
  • The campaign will be held between the 21st and 30th of every month.
