1) Bhagwant Mann took oath as the 17th Chief Minister of Punjab at Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) Nagar district.

2) Central Government has granted permission to Reliance Jio, Bharat Airtel, Vodafone, and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam to conduct 5G Technology trials in India.

4) Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched green hydrogen-based advanced fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV), Toyota Mirai.
- This is the first-of-its-kind project in India that aims to create an ecosystem for such vehicles in the country.
5) Sunil Chordia has been elected Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western Region for the year 2022-23, while Dr Praveer Sinha, CEO & Managing Director, The Tata Power Company Ltd., has been elected Deputy Chairman.

9) Singapore’s T Raja Kumar has been appointed as the president of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the global money laundering and terrorism financing watchdog.
10) The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE). The MoU inked is for fabrication, supply, erection and launching of 27 carriageway double-lane galvanised modular bridges of 7.5 mtr with Indian Road Congress (IRC) Load Class 70.
