- Born: 25 September 1916, Mathura, UP.
- Died: 11 February 1968.

- Leader of Bharatiya Jana Sangh; died under mysterious circumstances in 1968.
2. Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa
- Renowned Kannada writer; passed away on 24 September 2025at age 94.
- Known works: Parva, Vamshavruksha, Aavarana, Grihabhanga, Daatu, etc.
- Recipient of:
- Padma Bhushan (2023)
- Saraswati Samman (2010)
- Sahitya Akademi Fellowship (2015)
