1. PM Modi’s Visit to Japan & China (Aug 29–Sept 1, 2025):

• 15th India–Japan Annual Summit(Aug 29–30, Tokyo) with PM Shigeru Ishiba.
• Focus: Defence, security, trade, technology, and global strategic partnership.
• First summit between Modi and Ishiba.
• SCO Summit in Tianjin, China(Aug 31–Sept 1).
• India became full SCO member in 2017; chaired SCO Heads of State Council in 2022–23.

2. 4th SEMICON India 2025 (Sept 2–4, New Delhi):

• Inaugurated by PM Modi.
• Focus: Microelectronics, semiconductors, and innovation.
• 350+ companies from 18 countries.
• 4 international pavilions: Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia.
• 9 Indian states participating.
• Features Semiconductor Design Startup Pavilion.

3. National Summit on Technical Textiles (Aug 22–23, Patna):

• Organized by Ministry of Textiles and MATEXIL.
• Inaugurated by Union Minister Giriraj Singh.
• Focus: Role of technical textilesin growth, sustainability, and exports.
• Applications: Healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure.

4. All India Speakers’ Conference (Delhi Assembly):

• Inaugurated by Home Minister Amit Shah.
• Commemorates 100 years of Vithalbhai Patelas first Indian Speaker.
• Themes: Digital tools and AI in legislation.
• Release of commemorative stamp and exhibition on Vithalbhai Patel.

5. PM Modi’s Gujarat Visit (Aug 25–26):

• ₹5,400 crore projects launched in Ahmedabad.
• Focus areas: Energy, urban development, railways, roads.
• Launch of hybrid battery electrode production and EV exports to 100 countries.
• Railway Projects: ₹1,400 crore – Mahesana–Palanpur doubling, gauge conversions.
• Inauguration: Katosan-Sabarmati passenger train, underpasses, bridges, and road widening.

6. Tamil Nadu: Reform-Based Punishment System Launched

• Community servicefor minor offences.

7. India’s First Removable Solar Panel Project (Varanasi):

• Launched at Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW).
• 28 panels over 70 meters generate 15 KW.
• Panels are removable, durable, and land-efficient.
• Part of Indian Railways’ green energy drive.
• 20% of BLW’s energy needs already met via solar.

8. Cheteshwar Pujara Retired (Aug 24, 2025):

• Retired from all forms of Indian cricket.
• 7,195 Test runs, 19 centuries, 35 fifties.
• Played 103 Tests(debut in 2010).
• Key role in 2018–19 Australia tour.
• First Indianwith three triple centuries in First-Class cricket.
• Domestic record: 21,301 runs, 66 centuries.

9. India Clean Sweeps Mixed Air Rifle Events (16th Asian Shooting Championship):

10. Typhoon Kajiki – Alert in Vietnam & China:

• Wind speeds up to 180 km/h.
