1. First-Ever Tribal Sports Conclave – Ladakh
- Held at SAI Centre Kargiland KGBV Chiktan under Janjatiya Gaurav Varsha Pakhwada.
- Organised by Tribal Research Institute, University of Ladakh, supported by Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
- Participation: 200+ tribal athletes; events – Taekwondo, Boxing, Kho-Kho.
- Ladakh Policeteams also competed.
- Best Boxers: Shujat Ali, Kulsoom.
- Best Taekwondo Players: Asiya Banoo, Tajammul Hussain.
- Conclave concluded with award distribution.
2. World Boxing Cup Finals – Greater Noida (16–20 November)
- Venue: Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex.
- Concludes the 2025 World Boxing Cup Series(earlier stages: Brazil, Poland, Kazakhstan).
- Participation: 130 boxers from 18 nations; competition in 20 categories.
- India to participate in all categories; key boxers include Minakshi, Nikhat Zareen, Jaismine, Saweety Boora.
- Saweety Boorareturns; Lovlina Borgohain withdrew due to injury.

Nagaland
- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharamanon a 3-day visit (from 13 Nov).
- Inaugurated a new Industrial Training Institute (ITI)at Kiphire.
- ₹9 lakh (SBI CSR)support for skill development.
- Virtually inaugurated 9 bank branchesin the Northeast.

- 9 completed roadsin 3 districts – cost: ₹8,677.92 lakh.
- Emphasis on bottom-up developmentand rural connectivity.
- Channi Morh–Lower Sounthan link roadsanctioned at ₹799.69 lakh.
- Widening of Dhar Roadcleared by defence authorities.
Telangana
- Telangana to host ‘Telangana–North East Connect’ techno-cultural festival.
- Phase 1(20–22 Nov): Hitex Exhibition Centre; cultural shows + NE women SHG handicrafts.
- Phase 2(25–27 Nov): Raj Bhavan; focus on healthcare discussions.

32nd Northern Zonal Council Meeting – Faridabad (17 Nov)
- Chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
- States/UTs represented: Haryana, HP, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, J&K, Ladakh, Chandigarh.
- Organised by Inter-State Council Secretariat, hosted by Haryana Government.
- NZC was set up under States Reorganisation Act, 1956.
- Chairperson – Amit Shah; Vice-Chairperson – CM of Haryana(rotational).
- Issues discussed:
- Crime against women & children
- Banking access
- 112 Emergency Response System
- Social sector governance
- Health, nutrition, education, electricity, cooperative sector
- Zonal Councils held 63 meetings in 11 years, showing rising cooperation.

🟦 DEFENCE
ASW-SWC ‘Mahe’ – Indian Navy
- Mahe, first of 8 Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft, to be commissioned on 24 Novin Mumbai.
- Built by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL).
- 80% indigenous content; boosts Aatmanirbhar Bharat in shipbuilding.
- Designed for shallow-water operations, ASW roles, coastal surveillance, and maritime security.
- Named after Mahe (Malabar Coast); crest features Urumi swordof Kalaripayattu.
- Enhances India’s littoral zone security and naval readiness.
🟦 INFRASTRUCTURE & ENERGY
₹9,700 crore Projects – Dediapada, Gujarat
- Inaugurated by PM Narendra Modion Janjatiya Gaurav Divas (Birsa Munda’s 150th birth anniversary).
- Focus on tribals and minor forest produce: list expanded from ~20 items → nearly 100.
- PM highlighted tribal contributions to freedom struggle.
- Reviewed the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (Bullet Train) Project.
- Inspected Surat station
- Project length: 508 km(352 km in Gujarat & DNH, 156 km in Maharashtra).
- 465 km (~85%)on viaduct; 326 km of viaduct work completed.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – 5-Year Closing Ceremony (18 Nov)
- Venue: Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
- Attendees: ~7,000.
- Presided over by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria; attended by Union Minister of Social Justice.
- Purpose: encouraging youth to reject drugs; promoting healthy lifestyles.
- Launched on 15 August 2020.
- Focus on prevention, treatment, rehabilitationand community engagement.

National Press Day – 16 November 2025
- Marks establishment of Press Council of India (PCI)in 1966.
- Theme 2025: “Safeguarding press credibility amidst rising misinformation”.
- PCI: Statutory & quasi-judicial body; re-established under Press Council Act, 1978.
- Registered publications rose from 60,143 (2004–05)→ 54 lakh (2024–25).
