Sharvari Somnath Shendewon U-18 women’s recurve gold at World Youth Archery 2025, Winnipeg, Canada.
Defeated South Korea’s Kim Yewon (6-5).
She became the third Indian(after Deepika Kumari and Komalika Bari) to win this title.
India won 8 medals: 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze.
570 archers from 63 countries

One-time switchfrom Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) to National Pension System (NPS)
Can be availed 1 year before retirementor 3 months before voluntary retirement.
Not eligible: Employees under dismissal/removal/disciplinary action.
UPS offers assured payouts; switching cancels UPS benefits.
Govt’s 4% differential contributionadded to NPS corpus at exit.
Deadline to join UPS: 30 September 2025.
31,555 employeesopted for UPS till July 20.
