- Renowned art director Thota Tharaniawarded Chevalier (Ordre des Arts et des Lettres) by French Government (2025).
- He is the 6th Indian film personalityto receive the Chevalier honour.

- Sagar Defencewins “Accelerating the Autonomous Robotics Revolution”

- GENESIS: AI-driven, platform-agnostic module; can make any vessel semi/fully autonomous or remote-operable.
- Sagar Defence is an iDEX startup(initiative launched by PM Modi in 2018).
- 15 iDEX startupsparticipated in Dubai Airshow 2025.
3. MoUs / Agreements
TEC – IIIT Delhi MoU (Telecom Standardisation)
- Signed on 19 November 2025between Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) and IIIT Delhi.
- Purpose: joint research, India-specific standards, testing frameworks in advanced telecom & ICT.
- Focus areas: 6G, optical communication, NTNs, contributions to ITU-T, 3GPP.
- Supports Atmanirbhar Bharat, domestic R&D, secure communication systems.
4. Summits / Conferences
Regional Open Digital Health Summit – New Delhi (19–20 Nov 2025)
- Organised by: NeGD (MeitY)+ NHA + WHO-SEARO + UNICEF.
- Objective: Promote open, interoperable digital health systemsacross Global South.
- Builds on: 1st Summit held in Nairobi (2024).
- Focus: digital public infrastructure, UHC, WHO Digital Health Strategy.
- India highlighted its progress via governance, open standards & emerging tech.
5. State News – Bihar
Nitish Kumar sworn in as Bihar CM for the 10th time
- Date: 20 November 2025, administered by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
- Chosen unanimously as NDA Legislature Party leader (19 Nov).

Indian Army secures IP Rights for New Combat Coat (Digital Print)
- New uniform introduced: January 2025.
- Designed by NIFT Delhiunder Army Design Bureau.
- Three-layered: digital camouflage outer coat + insulated mid-layer + thermal base layer.
- Registered under Design Application No. 449667-001(27 Feb 2025).
- Published: 7 October 2025, provides legal protection under Designs Act & Patents Act.
- Supports Army’s Decade of Transformation (2023–2032); improves comfort, mobility, efficiency.

Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) – CFA Institute Partnership
- Signed: Joint Statement of Intent, New Delhi.
- Purpose: strengthen financial literacy, ethics, governancein India’s innovation ecosystem.
- Beneficiaries: Atal Tinkering Labs, AICs, Community Innovation Centres, startups.
- Includes structured training, global best-practice frameworks.

8. Biotechnology / Health
India launches first indigenous CRISPR gene therapy – BIRSA 101
- Launched by: Jitendra Singh.
- For Sickle Cell Disease, mainly affecting tribal populations.
- Name honours Birsa Munda’s 150th birth anniversary.
- Cost is far cheaper than international therapies (which cost ₹20–25 crore).
- Collaboration includes government agencies + Serum Institute of India.
- CRISPR: Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats.
- SCD: genetic disorder where RBCs become crescent-shaped, lowering haemoglobin.
