Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve to Become Cheetah Habitat
- Located at Nauradehi, Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh.
- Announced by CM Mohan Yadav.
- Will be Madhya Pradesh’s third cheetah habitat.
- Earlier habitats:
- Kuno National Park(September 2022) – currently 28 cheetahs.
- Gandhi Sagar Sanctuary(April 2025) – 2 cheetahs.
- Eight cheetahs from Botswanaexpected in January 2026.
- State cabinet granted in-principle approval.

India–Jordan Relations Strengthened
- PM Narendra Modivisited Jordan on 15–16 December.

- Observed annually to commemorate India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war.
- 2025 marks the 54th anniversaryof the historic victory.
- On 16 December 1971, East Pakistan became independent, leading to the creation of Bangladesh.
- The war began on 3 December 1971after Pakistani airstrikes on 11 Indian airbases.
- India achieved victory in 13 daysof intense fighting.
