6. INS Sahyadri at Guam – Exercise Malabar 2025

• INS Sahyadri:Indigenous stealth-guided missile frigate.
• Participating in Exercise Malabar 2025at Guam, North Pacific.
• Participants:India, USA, Japan, Australia.
• Started:1992 (India–US); Japan added 2015; Australia added 2020.
• Phases:Harbour (planning, coordination) + Sea (intensive naval drills).

7. Assam – Prohibition of Polygamy Bill 2025

• Approved:9 November 2025.
• To be introduced:25 November 2025 in Assembly.
• Punishment: Up to 7 years rigorous imprisonment.
• Cognisable offence, non-bailable.
• Aims to ensure lawful and fair family relationships, protect women.
• Exemptions:
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) population.
  • Scheduled Areas of Assam.
  • Minority Muslim residents in Scheduled Areas (pre-2005).
• Compensation fundfor victims of polygamy.

8. Uttarakhand – 25th Foundation Day (Silver Jubilee)

• PM Modiattended celebrations in Dehradun (9 November 2025).
• Launched projects worth ₹8,000 crore(water, power, education, sports, etc.).
