✅ Zubeen Garg passes away
- Renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Gargdied in a scuba diving accident in Singapore at age 52.
- He was rescued unconscious from the sea and taken to hospital but could not be revived.
- He was in Singapore for a performance at the North East Festival.
- Known for “Ya Ali” (Gangster, 2006); recorded 38,000+ songsin 40 languages.
- First album: Anamika(1992).
- Also a lyricist, composer, actor, filmmaker, and humanitarian.
- Assam Govt declared 3-day state mourning: 20–22 September 2025.
