• PM Narendra Modito inaugurate Aunta–Simaria project in Gaya, Bihar on 22 August 2025.
• Project includes a 2 km bridge over Ganga, parallel to Rajendra Setu.
• Connects Mokama (Patna) – Begusarai, reduces heavy vehicle travel distance by ~100 km.
• Expected to improve traffic flow, reduce fuel costs & boost connectivity.
• Foundation stone laid by PM Modi in 2017.

• Rashmika Sehgal– Gold in Junior Women’s Air Pistol (241.9 pts) at 16th Asian Shooting Championship, Kazakhstan.
• Also won team goldwith Vanshika Chaudhary & Mohini Singh.

• Lok Sabha passed Online Gaming Regulation Bill 2025 (20 Aug).
• Promotes e-sports & social gaming, bans online money gaming(e.g., Poker, Rummy).
• Creates Online Gaming Authorityfor policy & regulation.
• Penalties:
  • First offense: Up to 3 yrs jail + ₹1 crore fine.
  • Repeat: 3–5 yrs jail + ₹2 crore fine.
• Bill aims to prevent financial distress & suicides (32 reported in 31 months)due to money gaming.

  • Part of 10 prefabricated steel bridges donated by Indiaafter Sept 2024 floods.
