France to Recognize Palestine (UNGA, Sept 2025)
- President Emmanuel Macron announced France will formally recognize Palestine at the UN.
- Emphasized ceasefire in Gaza, release of hostages, and humanitarian aid.
- Over 140 of 193 UN members already recognize Palestine.
Iran Launches Nahid-2 Satellite with Russia
- Launched on 25 July via Soyuz rocket from Vostochny Cosmodrome.
- Will operate for 5 years, adjusts orbit by 50 km, and uses indigenous propulsion.
- Joint mission included 20 satellites from multiple countries.

NASA-ISRO NISAR Satellite Launch on 30 July from Sriharikota
- Joint mission for disaster monitoring, agriculture & climate studies.
- NASA provided L-Band radar; ISRO provided S-Band radar and GSLV-F16.
- Satellite weight: 2,392 kg, orbit: Sun-synchronous.
