✅ 1. India’s Clean Energy Push

• Union Minister Pralhad Joshi outlined 5 pillars for clean energy transition:
  • Stronger PPAs, better grid/storage, local manufacturing, efficient land use, easier finance.
• India has over 245 GW renewable energy (116 GW solar, 52 GW wind).
• Achieved 50% installed capacity from clean energy – ahead of schedule.
• IRENA: India saved ₹4 lakh crore in 2024 via renewables (including ₹31.7K crore in health benefits).
• PM Surya Ghar Yojana: Over 7 lakh applications, 17.2 lakh rooftop solar systems installed.
• ₹5,400 cr fund launched for 30 GWh battery storage – expected to attract ₹33,000 cr private investment.
• ₹24,000 cr PLI scheme for domestic solar/wind manufacturing.
• Green Hydrogen Mission: ₹19,744 cr outlay; 3,000 MW electrolyser capacity; 8.6 lakh tonnes/yr production.

✅ 2. Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025 – 26th Anniversary

• Observed on 26 July to honor 1999 Kargil War heroes.
• Launched 3 initiatives:
  • E-shradhanjali portal, QR-code based battle stories, and Indus Viewpoint at Batalik (LOC visit).
• India lost over 500 soldiers in the war.

✅ 3. DRDO’s Missile Success

• DRDO successfully tested ULPGM-V3 (UAV-launched precision-guided missile).
• Features: Dual-channel seeker, 3 warhead types (anti-armour, bunker-blast, pre-fragmentation).
• Launched from a UAV by Newspace Research Technologies.
• Supported by Adani Defence, BDL, and 30+ MSMEs.

✅ 4. PM Modi Becomes Second Longest-Serving PM

• On 25 July 2025, surpassed Indira Gandhi’s 4,077 days.
• Now second only to Jawaharlal Nehru (16 years+ in office).
• First non-Congress PM to complete two full terms and win a third.
• Served as Gujarat CM (2001–2014).

✅ 5. ₹4,800 Cr Projects Launched in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu

• PM inaugurated:
  • ₹450 cr Tuticorin airport terminal.
  • ₹2,350 cr NH-36 and ₹200 cr NH-138 expansions.
  • ₹285 cr North Cargo Berth-III at VOC Port.
  • Electrification of rail lines and 400 kV ISTS from Kudankulam (₹550 cr).

✅ 6. Atal Pension Yojana Crosses 8 Crore Enrollments

• Launched in 2015; aimed at unorganized sector.
• Offers ₹1,000–5,000/month pension post 60 yrs.
• 39 lakh new enrollments in FY 2025–26.

✅ 7. NASA Launches TRACERS Mission

• Studies how Earth’s magnetic field protects from solar storms.
• Two satellites launched via SpaceX Falcon 9 from California.
• Other missions aboard: Athena EPIC, PExT, REAL.
• Will help protect satellites, power grids, and communications.

✅ 8. Maritime Financing Summit 2025 – New Delhi

• Focused on Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.
• Port turnaround time cut from 4 days to <1 day.
• 100% FDI allowed in shipping.
• Launched Financial Digital Maturity Matrix (FDMM).
• Proposed Maritime Development Fund and extension of Shipbuilding Financial Assistance Scheme.

✅ 9. India–Maldives Bilateral Boost

• 6 MoUs signed: fisheries, fintech, digital systems, weather, pharma, financing.
• India gave ₹4,850 crore Line of Credit.
• Loan repayment reduced: $51M → $29M/year.
• FTA negotiations initiated.
• PM Modi Guest of Honour at Maldives’ 60th Independence Day.
• Inaugurated 3,300 social housing units & 72 vehicles.

✅ 10. Shaurya Bharat Car Rally Inaugurated

• Inaugurated by Air Chief Marshal AP Singh.
• Celebrates Operation Sindoor (launched May 7, 2025 after Pahalgam attack).
• Rally: New Delhi → Adampur (via Ambala), concludes 27 July 2025.
• Includes 112 participants, 800 km journey, 40 mostly electric vehicles.
