• PhonePe can now serve online businesses, especially SMEs.
• CBO Yuvraj Singh Shekhawat emphasized the role in financial inclusion.
• Stats:
  • 650+ million users, 45 million merchants.
  • 360 million+ daily transactions; ₹150 lakh crore annual transaction value.
• Previously received in-principle approval in 2023.
• Offers insurance, lending, wealth management, and ecommerce (Pincode).
• Other approved aggregators: Easebuzz, PayU, BharatPe, Pine Labs.
• PhonePe is Walmart-backed, HQ in Bengaluru.

2. Arshdeep Singh – First Indian to 100 T20I wickets

• Achieved milestone vs Oman in Asia Cup 2025, in his 64th match.
• Fastest Indian, second-fastest fast bowler globally after Rizwan Butt (Bahrain).
• Bowling average: 37– best among seamers from Full Member nations.
• Historic counterparts:
  • Vinoo Mankad– 1st Indian with 100 Test wickets.

3. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone sets 400m record

• Won goldin World Championships with 78 seconds – fastest in 40 years.
• Beat Olympic champion Maryledy Paulino(47.98 sec).

• McLaughlin-Levrone: Previously won Olympic & World titles in hurdles.

4. Anandkumar Velkumar – Gold in Speed Skating Marathon

• Won marathon gold (42 km)at Speed Skating World Championships, China.
• Also won:
  • Gold in 1000m.
  • Bronze in 500m.
• First Indian to win marathon medal at this level.
• Earlier achievements:
  • Silver (2021)at Junior Worlds.
  • Bronze (2025)at World Games.

5. Anish Raj – Bronze at Inline Speed Skating World Championships

• First Indian medalist at the 73rd Championshipsin Beidaihe, China.
• Won bronze in Junior Men’s One-Lap Road Sprint (39.714 sec).
• Earlier won Gold at 20th Asian Roller-Skating Championships.

6. Tripura Sundari Temple Redevelopment

• Inaugurated by PM Modion 22 Sept 2025.
• Under PRASHAD Scheme; built in 1501 by Dhanya Manikya.
• Modern upgrades: ramps, lifts, stalls, offering hall, dormitory.

7. Arunachal Pradesh – ₹5,100 Crore Projects Launched

• Projects inaugurated in Itanagarby PM Modi.

  • ₹1,290 crorefor healthcare, fire safety, women support, connectivity.

  • Includes flood diversion, drainage, retention ponds.
