1) Know About: Grammy Awards
- The Grammy Awards are presented by the Recording Academy of the USA.
- The second Grammy Awards in 1959, was the first ceremony to be televised.
- The 64th Grammy Awards ceremony was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, 2022.
- Top 3 american awards are the Academy Awards (for films), the Emmy Awards (for television), and the Tony Awards (for theater).

2) Vadnagar town, Modhera Sun Temple added to UNESCO’s tentative list
- The Union Ministry of Culture announced on 20 December 2022 that Vadnagar town, and Sun Temple Modhera, Gujarat have been added to the tentative list of UNESCO’s world heritage sites.
- Rock Cut Sculptures and reliefs of the Unakoti,Tripura have also been added in the list.
- With the addition of these three sites, UNESCO has 52 proposals in the tentative list of India.
3) A book ‘Fit At Any Age’ launched by Retd. Air Marshal PV lyer
- Air Marshal PV lyer (retd.) launched his book ‘Fit At Any Age’ at India International Centre, New Delhi in December 2022.
- He shared anecdotes from his life to explain how he became motivated to work out daily.
- He also writes about why it’s important to work out and why one’s journey toward fitness should start early.
- The book is published by Bloomsbury India.
4) UAE to host the 13th World Trade Organisation Ministerial Meet in 2024
- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 13th World Trade Organisation (WTO) Ministerial meeting in February 2024.
- The WTO’s 12th Ministerial Conference was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from June 12 to June 17, 2022.
- The Ministerial Conference is the topmost decision-making body of the WTO and usually meets every two years.

5) Nations adopt Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework
- The UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) adopted the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) on Dec 19, 2022.
- The framework has 23 targets that the world needs to achieve by 2030.
- The countries will monitor and report every five years or less on a large set of indicators related to progress.
- Signatories aim to ensure $200 billion per year for conservation initiatives.
6) Know About: Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA)
- The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs is a central civil service training institute under Government of India.
- It is for the central civil servants of the Indian Corporate Law Service cadre.
- It is the sole institution in the country that has been authorised by Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India to run its flagship Graduate Insolvency Program.
