- Kerala has become the first state in India to launch uniform gold prices based on the bank rate.
- In Kerala, gold used to be sold at different prices on a particular day.
- Uniform gold price based on bank rate offers an opportunity to the consumers to purchase gold at a reasonable and transparent price.
- In most states, gold is priced Rs.150-300 per gram extra over the bank rate.

4) 15th Asian Airgun Championship 2022 begins on 9 November
- The 15th Asian Airgun Championship 2022 began on 9 November 2022 at Daegu in South Korea.
- This will be the first Rifle/Pistol Asian Shooting Confederation Championship that will be counted towards the new Asian Ranking System.

- PM Narendra Modi unveiled the logo, theme, and website of India’s G20 Presidency on 8 Nov 2022.
- The logo, theme, and website will reflect India’s message and overarching priorities to the world.
- India will assume G20 Presidency from 1 December 2022.
- G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation representing around 85% of the global GDP, and over 75% of the global trade.

- Bass Strait is a strait separating the island state of Tasmania from the Australian mainland.
- The strait provides the most direct waterway between the Great Australian Bight and the Tasman Sea.
